Privacy Practices

Persons who entrust their care with us can expect to receive the highest level of privacy, discretion and confidentiality. We know how important that is, and take extensive measures to ensure that all aspects of our operations adhere to strict policies over the security and disclosure of confidential patient information.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) requires us to provide our clients with a Notice of Privacy Practices upon first visit, which includes their rights with regard to their medical information, and how we may use and disclose it. HIPAA also requires us to take extensive measures to safeguard our clients' medical information from a variety of potential sources including theft, unintended disclosure, and computer related threats.
