Donna Bislow, CASAC
Coordinator of Quality Assurance/Group Therapist
I have a Bachelor's Degree from St. John Fisher College in Psychology and I have been a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor at Westfall for over 20 years. I have worked with every segment of the population as a primary therapist and as a group facilitator. For the past 4 years I have also served as the Quality Assurance Coordinator for Westfall. This entails making sure we are serving our clients in the most professional manner and in accordance with NYS regulations. As part of our quality assurance process we conduct regular and comprehensive client feedback studies, which continually help us improve upon our patients' experience at Westfall.
My interest in this field comes from having my family life directly affected by the disease of chemical dependency and knowing that the right treatment provides hope and excellent outcomes.
I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 4. I am a lover of books, working with the elderly, volunteering with Honor Flight and ushering at the Auditorium, trips with family and volunteering with endangered species of animals all over the world. My main animal passion is working with primates at a sanctuary in Florida.
